Salem and Keizer Program Funding Application Cycle Begins November 1

The City of Salem Urban Development Department will soon be accepting Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnership, and Social Service applications for the 2017-2018 program year.

The application cycle opens Nov. 1, 2016 and closes at 4 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2016. Applications will be available online at or Projects or programs applying for funding must be located, and serve persons, at/or below 80% median family income residing within the city limits of Salem and Keizer.

Special consideration may be given to projects or programs aligned with the following 2015-2019 priority goals: Promote Economic Development, End Homelessness, Expand Affordable Housing, and Neighborhood Revitalization. Additional information can be found at

Applicants must attend a mandatory training scheduled on Nov. 8, 2016 at 9 a.m. or Nov. 10, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Urban Development Office located at 350 Commercial Street NE, Salem.
